This race was a fundraiser for Rex, an 8 (I think) year old boy who has brain cancer at my church. They raised over $22,000 to help pay for his medical expenses! Praise the Lord! I am glad I could be a part of it.

5K:
It is on my bucket list to become a runner....there isn't a better way than to start with a 5K that is also for a good cause.

Cheers to Bowling:
In an attempt to go bowling in Abilene, we ended up 2 1/2 hours away in Fort Worth at Pete's Piano Bar! To say the least it was a spontaneous weekend and we had a great time!

The beautiful plains of Texas covered with white fluffiness.... the funny thing is that literally the whole town shut down because people here just don't know how to deal with snow and ice! In a way it is kind of awesome cause I didn't have school today!

I couldn't decide which pic I liked the best so ya'll get to see both!
This is inside TX capitol! It is such a beautiful building!
I truly fell in love with this city! It has the eclectic feel of hippies but very urban city full of coffee shops, bicyclists, and art on the street. I could definitely see myself moving here one day!
