Day 140
The Calm Before the Storm:
The beautiful sunset right before the thunderstorm that is supposed to hit any minute. We have been prayin for rain....especially with all the wild fires that have been happening around us. I think God is going to deliver tonight!

Abandoned Parking Lot:
Driving through downtown I found this old, beaten down parking garage that had so many beautify features! I had to stop and get some photos!
Black and White photography is definitely me weakness...I need to take more photos like this!

Day 138
Moon Names:
The moon was incredibly RED the other night! I decided to photograph it. If you have ever tried to take a picture of something at night you will know that it is difficult to get it in focus. So haphazardly this is what I discovered upon editing these very different picture of the moon....these squiggles in some tiny way have formed the letters of my name! How fun is that! What a fun surprise!

Day 135
Lately I have not had much inspiration or have been in the mood to take some cool photographs (or any photo for that matter). I have been slacking. I completely apologize for that. I went into this challenge with the hopes of becoming a better photographer, to refocus my eye on finding beauty in the simple things, and just to give myself something to look forward to everyday. But lately that just has not been working. Life has become busy and frankly I have become lazy during the most beautiful season of the year. Spring has so many things to photograph but I haven't spent the time caring. Anyways, all this is to say that I am going to try to do better at this challenge for the last 200 and some odd days. It would be much easier to give this up and quite and completely forget about it, but instead I am going to try to refocus and commit myself, and try to fall in love with this project again rather than look at it is a chore.
So here are two pictures of where my life has been lately...
Study time:
Life can be mundane. Lately my life has been stuck in the library, filled with reading articles, typing papers and making bad health habits.

Strawberry Deliciousness:
Some friends and I were invited to a dinner at the college pastor's house! I brought this delicious Strawberry and pound cake dessert, courtesy of Mrs. Paula Deen herself!

Early morning: Sunrise:
What I love about photographing sunrises and sunsets is that we know there will always be one again the next day but they never cease to loose my attention. It is a beautiful reminder of why we are here on Earth and the mighty, beautiful, creative God we serve!

Country Roads:
After the long wait to get my car fixed I decided that I had to go back to that country road to get the picture that I wanted from the day before. So here it is, technically I took it on Day 123 but this is the exact picture I had planned in my head.

Day 123
Car problems:
If you haven't noticed, my Day 123 and 122 are in the opposite order. There is a story to that. On Day 122 I went out for a little Saturday evening drive to find something cool to photograph. Well instead of getting a great pic my car overheated. To say the least I headed home.
Day 123 I was on my way to get my car fixed when it over heated again. So this is a pic of the parking lot I sat in for 1hr 30min waiting for my tow truck. It was not a fun situation and pretty boring. I found a US map in my car that entertained me for a majority of that time. Thankfully I had my camera. I thought about taking a pic of my car on the tow truck but I figured the guy would of thought I was weird so this is what I got.

The Wind turbines:
Just outside of town are these huge windmills! They are so strange to see but for some reason I think they are beautiful! I really don't know why.
