In the Blink of an Eye:


I got two photos for you today!  First of all I am home, back in AZ for a couple weeks!  Secondly I am in a group on Facebook for this 365 challenge and they have photo challenge themes each week.  This week was In a blink of an eye and picture number one represents this!  This is in Flagstaff when I was spending some time with my good friend Ginny!


And the second picture is of Sedona when I was there with my mom on a hike!

Bee Puppy:

One of my roommates brought home this dog bee costumes that one of her coworkers gave her!  Oliver hated it and was practically falling out of it but it made us laugh so hard it was worth seeing him suffer a little bit!

These two random pieces of artwork hung proudly in my bedroom!  The top is from my friend Karen to inspire me to see the simple beauty in life and the bottom is from my friend Anna that she gave to me on my birthday  (I think it was kind of supposed to be a joke but I loved it, very clever)

Day 161

Memories:

I am starting to pack my apartment before I move in a week and took down all these pictures that graced my closet door.  It was sad to remove them but it brought such joy in my heart to go back and look at all these pictures of the people I love and fun experiences I have had.  All I know is that there is definitely room for more pictures.  I can't wait to see what God has in store!

After my summer in Grand Junction I have had a love for old beat up trucks!  I would absolutely love to be able to restore one some day (well I probably wouldn't be the one doing the work, but still).  I saw this one in the grocery store parking lot and just fell in love!

Day 150

Hidden Treasure:

My parents and I went to Fredericksburg, a little German town with lots of girly things!  We came across this little artsie shop.  After taking several shots of these neat glass bottles I asked my dad if he thought they were cool looking.  He said that they didn't do anything for him.  But then I showed him the pictures I took and he said that the pictures captured more than what he saw with his bare eye (or something like that).  It is so cool the way that photography can distort things and make incredible photos.  This might be my favorite photo so far in this challenge.

Allen's Boots:


I couldn't decide which picture I liked better so you get both today!

You can't go to SoCo in Austin and miss Allen's boots!  What an incredible store.  So many crazy expensive boots to choose from.  I was overwhelmed.







Wedding Fairy Tale:

This is what the lovely bride and groom rode off in around the Driskell hotel after the reception.  It was magical!  Just like Cinderella!

KRAMER:

My parents came to Texas for a wedding so they swung by and picked me up!  And I got to share the back seat with Krazy Kramer!  Man I miss that little fella.

For the long road trip my mom got him a car basket, seat buckle thing so that he could see out and be comfortable.  She is ridiculous!

I am engaged to Prince William.   Hahaha obviously that is not true.  The entire world knows that he is now married to Kate Middleton, but at least I got to try on her engagement ring.  A little too much bling for me but I guess I would take it if offered.

Day 144

Happy Easter:

Easter is so much more than painting eggs, but I have to admit this is one of my favorite things to do ever (not just on Easter). Typically my mom, sister and I paint the eggs and have a blast, but since I wasn't home this year I had to get my friends in on the fun.  We got pretty creative with our eggs this year, including mod-podge-ing one, gluing buttons and flowers on others.  It was a fun experience!

One Armed Ducky:

This is one of Oliver's favorite toys.  Within the first 48 hours of getting this little ducky he ripped one of it's arms off.  He continues to just play with that arm but has yet to pull off another extremity.
