Ugandan Bracelet:
When I was in Houston a month ago I came across this very unique bracelet. It is actually hand made by some Ugandan woman out of old magazines. A large percentage of the sales for these bracelets goes straight into the pockets of people who need the money much more than I do! They also make beautiful bowls and baskets! Sorry, I wish I could remember the name of the org.

Story Scarves:
My scarves tell stories of where I have been! The bright purple and red one is my FAVORITE and I got it in la Cuidad de Oaxaca, Mexico; another one in this bunch is from China Town NYC! (And I think another is just from Target! but still a great one!)

Pixie Cut:
I feel like a new woman....just kidding.
It has been pretty windy here so I went and got all my hair cut off! This is not artsie at all but it explains a part of my life I am living right now so I thought it was important for all of you to know (and see) that I got my hair cut. It is taking some time to get use to but so far I like it and am happy with my decision!

Color Inspirations:
WHOOOOOOO Day 100!!!! That is exciting! I have missed a several days to get here but still I feel accomplished!
At the start of this challenge I made a little on going list of things that I could take pictures of if I was lacking inspiration...paint chips was one of those things on the list! So I was at Walmart doing a little wandering and came across some color inspirations! What I love the most are the cards with the pictures of real life objects!

The Walk Around:
In the middle of a great phone conversation with my bestie I had to hang up on her to capture this moment. Sadly I didn't have my camera on hand so I had to use my crappy camera phone. This is a view of my campus from the 2 mile walking path! It was just a perfect picture opportunity!

Bathroom Awkwardness:
So on our way home from Houston we stopped a what we thought was an innocent gas station...but to our surprise this place was actually a gas station/bar/deli/convenience store/place filled with middle aged men drinking beer at 3 pm. It was quite the experience. And to top it off the bathroom was covered in license plates! I had to take a picture to remember this momentous occasion!

SUGARLAND:
We got free tickets for the Houston Rodeo...and to our enjoyment this included a little performance by Sugarland! We were so excited to see them. They literally performed so well and made me fall in love with their music even more! It definitely was the highlight of my weekend in Houston.

Laura and I were packing to head off to our state conference and Oliver wanted to come along! (Well in actuality, the story was that we wanted him to come with us, and upon putting him in her suitcase he didn't want to get out!) He just wants to be a world traveler like his 3 mom's!

Savannah, GA:
The town of Savannah Georgia is absolutely one of the coolest places to visit! We found this police station nestled into one of the side streets, out of normal sight of the many tourists that flood the streets! If you ever get the chance to visit this town I would highly recommend it!

Beach Riding:
In Hilton Head you can ride your bike on the beach! Thankfully my mom made it to the bike shop just in time to rent some bikes! It turned out that we rode most of the way in really thick fog, it was an interesting experience.

So Car:
My mom and I went to South Carolina for the weekend to go check out a condo my parents just bought! We had a blast! This is beautiful Hilton Head Island. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of visiting this island, it definitely is unique. Pine trees that lead up to the ocean! Absolutely beautiful!

Totally random and weird I know....but I was trying to be creative and inspired by the ordinary.
So if you couldn't figure out what this was it is luggage. I left for the weekend for So Carolina with my momma! More of those pictures to come soon (once school settles down for a few minutes I will upload the pics from last weekend! Thanks for being patient.)
