Day 191
Capitol with a capitol C:
Spent the day being tourists in DC! It really is a surreal feeling being surrounded by buildings that house some of the most influential people in the world. (in good and bad ways). Sometimes I wish they realized how influential they really are.

Monticello:
Recognize this place? If not, do me a favor and take out a nickle at look at the back side...
This is Thomas Jefferson's house that he spent almost his entire life designing and building (and re designing and re building for that matter). Definitely an incredible stop on our trip across the country.

Day 186
Devastation:
We accidentally ran into the tornado damage in Tuscaloosa, Alabama from April. It was absolutely heart wrenching to see such destruction. If you look closely at this picture, you can see books in the bookshelf that weren't even touched, but everything else around them was destroyed. And this was after about 6 weeks of clean up. I have never seen anything like this in my whole life.
